Our Mission

What we are building: 100,000 financially literate women in the UAE by 2027. Workshops, conversations, and a quiet, trusted community that puts knowledge before products. None of it works without the people who show up to make it happen.

We are not looking for financial experts. We are looking for people who know how to hold a room, ask the right question, and create safety. Your lived experience - buying a home, navigating insurance, building a budget - is your credential.

Featured role

Social Media Coordination

Help us run our content calendar - scheduling posts, sourcing imagery, light copy edits, community management on Instagram and LinkedIn, and capturing content at workshops and events. You don't need to be a content strategist; you need to be reliable, on-brand, and visible online yourself.

Kit needed: your own filming equipment - a recent smartphone with a good camera, a basic ring light or tripod, and a familiar editing app (CapCut, InShot, Lightroom, or similar).

Featured role

In-Room Facilitator Support

Be the second pair of hands at workshops - welcoming participants, managing materials, supporting the facilitator, holding space for women who arrive nervous. The role that makes a 2-hour workshop feel held rather than rushed.

Hospitality

Workshop hosting

Offer a space - your home majlis, an office boardroom, a community room - for a small workshop. Hosting matters; intimate rooms outperform conference centres for this work.

Language

Translation & language support

Translate key materials, support live workshops in Arabic, Hindi/Urdu, or Tagalog, or help us reach communities where English-only would be a barrier.

Storytelling

Photography & content capture

Capture workshops, events, and portraits in a way that respects the privacy of women in the room. Bring your own kit and a discreet eye.

Insight

Research & data support

Help us analyse participant feedback, build the research asset that underpins MoneyWorks, and turn workshop insights into something institutions can act on.

Operations

Logistics & event ops

The backbone. Setup, materials, registrations, follow-up. If you're the person who finds the missing extension cable, this is for you.

Network

Community outreach & partner connector

Open doors. Introduce us to community groups, employers, schools, mosques, networks, or institutions who would benefit from MoneyWorks workshops or partnership.

Alumna mentor & peer support

For women who have been through a MoneyWorks workshop and want to support others who are just starting. Lived experience is a credential here.

What we offer in return for your time. You choose what genuinely fits your situation.

Volunteer honorarium*

We offer three levels per session or shift you contribute. This is your choice - we honour all three equally. No level is considered more committed than another. Please select what genuinely reflects your situation, the role you've chosen, and the costs you'll incur (travel, parking, equipment, time).

Token honorarium

Dhs 150

Per session or shift. A small acknowledgement of my time. I'm here primarily for the mission.

Standard honorarium

Dhs 200

Per session or shift. Covers travel, time, and the practical costs of showing up well-prepared.

Full honorarium

Dhs 300

Per session or shift. Reflects the use of personal equipment, specialist skill, or a level of contribution that this rate appropriately recognises.

One year of programme membership, recognition, and a written reference on request

Honorarium availability is subject to funding. All volunteers will be onboarded regardless of tier selected. Some roles - such as Social Media Coordination - require you to bring your own equipment; please factor this in when selecting your tier. Payment terms confirmed at onboarding.
