The Structural Gap
Three things have to move together
Smart Money Habits Start When Three Things Move Together
MoneyWorks is designed around a simple idea, drawn from the work of social scientist Carol Weiss: lasting change happens when three things shift together - how a woman feels about money, what’s normal in the conversations around her, and what the system makes possible for her.
01
Attitude
How a woman feels about money.
02
Norms
What’s normal in the conversations around her.
03
System
What the system makes possible for her.
We work on all three. In that order. On purpose.
We measure what changes. Quietly, anonymously, over time. We listen for the moment a woman’s language shifts from “I wish I could” to “I know” - because that shift, repeated across thousands of women, is the most honest evidence of progress we know how to capture.
And that evidence does double work. It tells a woman she is moving. And it tells the institutions that serve her that she has arrived - that the market they’ve underserved is real, ready, and watching.
This is what we mean by collective. Women change. Norms change. Institutions change.
Together, or not at all.
A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDERs
On the fee
Why we charge for our workshops
It is a fair question, and one we are asked often. Here is what your fee is actually paying for, and why we have designed it this way on purpose.
THE PREMISE
Financial education in this region is almost always free - and almost always sold to you afterwards. A bank invites you to a seminar, a wealth manager hosts a brunch; an insurer sponsors a panel. The education itself costs nothing because the education is not the product. You are.
MoneyWorks is built the other way around. We sell no financial products, take no commissions, and answer to no bank. The workshop is the product. Your fee covers the real cost of running it - the facilitator, the venue, the materials, the platform behind it - and funds three further things we think you should know about.
What MoneyWorks is and what it isn't.
Financial education without product agendas, commissions, or sales targets.
What we are
MoneyWorks for Women is a financial education and coaching platform. We teach women how money works - across earning, saving, protecting, investing, and planning for the life stages ahead - so that the financial decisions you make are decisions you understand.
What we are not
We are not licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE, Securities and Commodities Authority, Dubai Financial Services Authority, or Financial Services Regulatory Authority to provide regulated financial advice.
Everything we share is educational and general in nature. It is not tailored to your personal circumstances, objectives, or financial situation. Before acting on any financial decision, please speak to an appropriately licensed adviser.

“What stays with us is the teaching. What stays with you is the decision.”
What the Fee Funds
Three things, in roughly equal measure.
01
A woman who could not otherwise be in
the room.
One in every three workshops we run is offered free or heavily subsidised to women whose circumstances would never allow them to pay. When you book a paid seat, you are quietly funding one of theirs. There is no badge, no announcement, no public list. It is simply how the room is built.
02
The work of reaching women who
would never sign up.
Public campaigns. Schools curriculum. Employer partnerships. Research we publish for free because the field needs it. The hardest part of this work is not running the workshop you attend - it is finding the woman who does not yet know she should be in one. Your fee funds the outreach that makes that possible.
03
The right to teach truthfully.
We are not funded by a bank selling you a product at the end of the session. We do not earn a commission on what you decide to do next. That independence has a cost, and your fee is what pays for it. It is the reason we can tell you what we actually think - not what a sponsor would prefer we say.
IN SHORT
You are not paying for a private benefit. You are funding a public mission that includes the workshop you are sitting in.
A FINAL NOTE
If the fee is the reason you are hesitating, please write to us. Subsidised seats exist for a reason, and we would rather have you in the room than have you assume the door is closed. Reach us at hello@moneyworksforwomen.com.
